- Your poetry should:
- be single-spaced
- include a title for each poem
- illustrate an understanding of the following elements (pgs. 19-20):
- Lines & Stanzas
- Meter & Rhythm
- The "Music" of Poetry
- Imagery & Figurative Language
- Diction & Syntax
- Forms (if you choose to write poetry in a specific form)
- Mystery & Discovery (we discussed this in class)
